Edging a cut egg
Braid covers the cut edge of an egg and hides where the two halves meet. Narrow braids (2–5mm) suit quail, duck and goose eggs; wider fancy and mesh braids suit emu and ostrich. Velveteen and lamé squares are sized for lining the inside of jewel-box eggs.
