Choosing a kit
Goose eggs are the most popular starting point: large enough to hold miniatures and hinges comfortably, and forgiving to work with. Emu and ostrich eggs suit larger, heavier designs. Kits and pre-cut eggs are made up to order once payment is received, so allow time before dispatch.
Blown and pre-cut eggs
Blown shells are sold uncut for your own designs. Pre-cut eggs save the most difficult step: choose the cut (horizontal, curved, pram, peaked, oval or scalloped) and we cut and hinge a medium goose egg for you. Ask us about cuts on emu or ostrich eggs.
